Speed
The Swagtron T6 Outlaw has a pretty impressive battery range of 12 miles per charge; this matches perfectly with its maximum speed of 10 mph. This makes the Swagtron T6 Outlaw a great choice for cruising in town while still having enough battery life to come back home for a recharge period.
Its maximum speed isn’t fast enough that you should be worried about serious injury if you do accidentally take a tumble, but it’s also quick enough that you feel like you’re actually making progress towards your destination instead of just crawling along.
Riding Modes
There are three different modes that you can choose from when riding the Swagtron T6 Outlaw: Learning Mode, Standard Mode or Advanced Mode. The learning mode allows you to get the hang of the hoverboard without accidentally engaging its top speed. Standard mode opens up the top speed for the rider, while Advanced mode gives even more fine control over the hover board’s direction as a result of the rider’s leaning. It’s also quicker to engage top speed in Advanced mode. Switching between the modes only requires holding the power button for a few seconds to cycle through.
Bluetooth
One of the most interesting aspects of the Outlaw is its ability to integrate with your phone via Bluetooth. All of this can be accomplished via the SWAGTRON app, which only requires you to download it, connect your phone to the hoverboard, and be on your way.
You can play music directly from your phone’s library. You can also use the app to check the battery levels of your hoverboard, check the speed, and even change your riding mode all at the press of a button.
Safety
Safety is certainly a consideration when it comes to the Swagtron T6 Outlaw. The batteries are protected by SentryShield casings that prevent the batteries from overheating and catching on fire. The Outlaw allows you to enjoy its maximum speed without worry thanks to the extra-wide foot pedals that are positioned perfectly on the inside of the tires.
My Experience
Put to the test; there’s not too much I can say about the Swagtron T6 Off-Road Hoverboard that’s not already been said. Quite simply – it’s the kind of beast that’s guaranteed to take you by surprise! I’m hardly the heaviest guy, not at 200lbs, but I still can’t help but notice when so many boards just don’t feel built to handle the average adult human being. You get on, and they do the job, but it somehow feels labored. With this off-road hoverboard, it’s pretty much the exact opposite. You get the feeling that even if you had a second person on your shoulders, it wouldn’t even flinch.

It’s an excellent hoverboard with all kinds of great features. The only real thing holding it back is that the Bluetooth functionality can be more of a drain on the battery than we’d like to see. But it’s still a great option, particularly if you won’t need to go the full 12 miles possible from a single charge. It stands out for the simple fact that the moment you step on it, you can feel the quality of both its materials and its construction.
